No Chance

Dating genital HSV-2 female for 4 months and still not had intercourse...too scared.  I'd like to believe risk of transmission is almost nill!  She is on suppressive therapy and we would use condoms.  I note in the study of the 171 people who used condoms and suppressive tx that transmission was none( Valtrex)  I note that Grace posted she has never given a male HSV-2 while on supressive therapy.  I am starting to believe and want to believe that the risk of transmission female to male with condom and her on supressive therapy is practically non-existant!  Anyone share my thoughts

Yes strong word.  But, I'm thinking it might be true.  I'm kind of looking at the science alone. Has anybody out there actually acquired genital HSV-2 female to male while using a condon and supressive therapy

In my opinion I agree with you that the risk of transmission would be very low if a condom is used and she is on suppressive therapy. Non-existant however is a strong word. There will always be some risk of transmission, probably minimal in your case, depending on how well you practice safe sex. In sum I think if you really like this girl and want to have protected sex with her go for it. You should be alright for the most part but there always is that small chance.
