First positive HSV 2 test. Now what?

Nine days after visiting two massage parlors (1st encounter handjob, receive unprotected oral) and (2nd encounter handjob, protected oral and brief insertion vaginal protected)— I decided to get a full STD panel due to some testicle pain and redness on the foreskin. Came back negative for everything except HSV 2 with an index of 6.47. I have never had a blister or any other definitive herpes symptom.

Should I retest? Chances of this being accurate? If it is accurate, would I test positive this fast from the encounters above?

I used Labcorps via stdcheck.com

A 6.47 isn't likely to be a false positive, but you can certainly retest.

It's not from your recent encounters, either. It takes time for antibodies to develop - at minimum, 2 weeks, and up to 12 weeks.

I've seen reports of higher results come back as false positives, but those are definitely the exceptions, not the norm.

At 12 weeks post exposure, you can get a Western Blot test, either from your doctor or from Terri Warren - https://westoverheights.com/getting-a-herpes-western-blot/

Herpes doesn't cause testicular pain. That's something else. Work with your doctor to find the cause of that.
