Genital Herpes Scare

So, I recently had Oral Sex with a woman I met, and the very next day the head of my penis started burning. There are no bumps that I can see, and no sores. Just a constant burning. Now, I've had HSV1 my entire life, so I'm also wondering if it's possible that she would have infected me again only genital this time. I've spoken to her regarding my issues, and she assures me that she's never had a cold sore her entire life, and her last STD test came back clean.

Could Herpes symptoms appear the very next day? It was almost exactly 24 hours that I started to feel the burn. I've tried taking Valtrex to see if it would help the burning, but so far it hasn't worked. This has been going on for 3 days now, and I still don't see any signs of sores, bumps or anything like that.

Thank you for help in advance,

Seraph

Thank you for your response.

I had a blood test about two years ago, and It came back Positive for HSV1. I did another test a couple months ago, and the results were the same.

Yeah, I figured Herpes would take longer to show up than a day. I did have some redness appear on the side of the head of my penis, but it didn't hurt to the touch. I went to the doctor today. He pretty much told me the same thing about Herpes taking a little bit longer than a day to appear. He also said the redness didn't look Herpes related. He ventured a guess that it could be a bacterial infection or a fungal infection.

Hi, herpes does not show symptoms the next day. Takes about a week. Also if you have long term hsv1 oral you would be basicly immune to contracting it genital so i would suggest have a blood test now to confirm this.
Topical burning the next day could be from some lip balm that she was using or even mouthwash shortly before giving you the oral. Since its been nonstop for 3 days, you may have caused more irritation from constant touching and checking.
I would suggest a fungal infection but again the next day symptoms would rule that out as well.
