Genital Herpes concern / confusion

So here is a timeline and my symptoms. I am looking for advice and opinions as this has caused a lot of anxiety for me.

The first week of February I had a drunken one night stand with a casual acquaintance. 25-30 days later, the 2nd week of March, after traveling, I came down with flu like symptoms. Within the first 48 hours I saw a doctor, and a rapid flu test was done. The results came back positive for the flu. At this time, nothing else was out of the ordinary. The flu lasted about 1.5 weeks.

About 3-4 weeks after the flu in the beginning of April, after masturbating, I notice a small (size of a dime) flat, red and purplish blemish on the tip of my penis. The blemish lasted about 2-2.5 weeks before seeming to go away.

About 1 month later. in the beginning of May, the blemish returned to the same exact spot. This concerned me and within the first week I went to my local STD clinic (major city). Upon questioning and examining the blemish, the doctor believed it was nothing to worry about and sent me on my way. The blemish seemed to heal within two weeks.

Once again, about 1 month later, two days after having sex, the blemish returned. This time I was able to see a urologist within the first week of it appearing. By time I saw the doctor, the blemish was not as prevalent. He acknowledged the blemish, and concluded it was nothing to worry about, he however could not explain what it was, or why it was recurring. It is nearly two weeks now since it first appeared and it seems to be fading almost completely again.

I have no other symptoms than the recurring physical appearance. This is NO burning, itching, pain, scabbing, bleeding, cuts, weeping, crusting, or dry skin. Touching the blemish and rubbing it does not cause any type of discomfort at all. I've researched herpes manifesting as "paper cut like lesions" in some people. I have not noticed any type of cuts on the blemish, however, I may have noticed a small line running through the blemish during one of the recurrences. I can not be 100% sure it was not a "paper cut like lesion" however, as it was too small to tell.

At this point I am worrying daily about this, and my anxiety is high, despite having two doctors look at it. If it returns again, I plan on returning to the STD clinic and specifically requesting a herpes test.

Does anyone have an opinion, suggestion, or similar occurrence to my situation?

Hi, this is not at all consistant with herpes symptoms for many reasons so i would take that out of the equation for sure. It would appear that the skin in that area has been damaged from an injury or its a reaction to some medications your taking. Ive had similar red spots appearing in the same area and my doc said its from the med i take. Kinda like a allergy reaction.
