Genital to Oral Herpies

Greetings

As many people on here, I had a encounter with a woman about 22 days ago.  I performed oral sex on her and she on me.  A few days after I had tinging in my lips tongue and cheek (starting about 3 days after), and have had the tinging for many days now.  About 4 days after the encounter, I went to a clinic and had them run all the test all came back negative, however, I did not know you had to wait on the HSV-1 and HSV-2 tests.  It has been 22 days now with no bumps that I can find.  My mouth still tingles, could this be anxiety or is it likely to be HSV-1 and HSV-2?  I am particularly concerned with HSV-2.

Any help/advice would be appreciated

Hi  what your describing are not symptoms of herpes  and getting hsv2 oral is really not common at all as it prefers the genital ganglia not oral. and if she did not have any lip sores its close to zero risk for hsv1.
Nothing to be anxious over at all.

Thank you Life360_Dave... I appreciate your time...  Thanks for walking me off the ledge.  I will be much more careful from now on and still plan to get tested in 6 weeks and then in 12 weeks.

I did find a white  irregular shaped , pimple in my mouth ... what are the chances it is HSV2 ?
Virtually zero
I have a couple more blisters starting to form ,  I can’t tell their shape ,  my question is when do I go in to get the swab test done on them ....Is it is soon as they form
I also have tingling in my legs and butt and groin but no pimples there
You need to get them swabbed now. Go to an urgent care clinic and ask for a PCR swab
Thanks toohi1973.... I will do
Went to an Urgent Care Clinic, they said the pimples were to small to get a PCR swab... The pimples on my lip are about 1 mm in size.

Also I did have them run a HSV-2 test while I was there and it came back negative, they did not run an HSV-1 test because they believe everyone has it.

I may or may not have a red bump in my cheek, I really can not tell.  One of my questions is how long should the tingling go one in my tongue and cheek if it is HSV?  Just really scared and anxious... and waiting before you can get the results just adds to the anxiety
