Small Sore On Penis Healed in a 2 Days

Immediately after sex with my girlfriend a few weeks ago, I happened to notice a small, completely painless sore/opening (the size of tip of a pen) that I hadn't seen before sex. It caught me off guard because there was no painful friction during the sex that I could tie to the sore. It didn't bleed, but it was definitely open. It healed in less than two days, 3 at the absolute most. I realize if it was/is herpes, the lesion would not be from sex that day. My question is could a herpes sore heal that quickly. I ask mostly because I realize a sore on the penis absent other obvious reasons for the lesion could certainly be herpes. I also know symptoms can be extremely minor. I guess I'm wondering/hoping if the quick healing (2, maybe 3 days) could mean it was/is not herpes.

Thank yout for replying. I guess I caused some confusion regarding the situation and what my question is. I realize herpes symptoms wouldn't appear right after sex. That just happened to be when I noticed the small, painless open sore (like, a nick)at the base of my penis. If it was/is hdderpes, I realize it was not a result of the sex that day. My question is this: If a small, painless open sore on the penis heals in a day or two (as in there no traces of it), could it be herpes? Im.hoping not, obviously, but don't know what else it could be since there was no bump, etc, that could've been some other kind of skin issue. I also know that herpes can manifest in various ways, with very slight symptoms.

Hi, the thing with herpes is that once one sore appears, it opens and most often spreads the virus to the immediate area in a cluster type grouping. First time sores would appear on average in the first week, not the next day or even 2 days later. And if it did, it would not be herpes related.
You might want to have a blood test to confirm.
