HSV 2

Hi,

Last week I have tested for STD Panel, and as I got my results I noticed "HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec 1.05" is high, and considered equivocal based on the reference interval, and they mentioned it may suggest early infection. Report suggest to retest at a later date. Since I was not sexually active during the last three years (no sexual contact, no skin-to-skin contact), how I should I interpret equivocal for my case? Do I have HSV 2 or not?

I know that can be hard to swallow but I had the same type of thing happen to me with a low positive.1.3. I did not have any symptoms but I could not get passed it. Life360 helped me ease my mind a little and see it logically instead of emotionally. Turns out im neg and went through a ton of stress needlessly. Listen to him he knows his stuff!!!
