Any help?

I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety over the past 8 months. About 6 months ago I've noticed a sore on the inside of my penis, right near the tip. It's is narrow and about 6-8 mm long, running vertically. I'm convinced this is urtheral herpes but I'm concerned now because the sore has never fully healed. Occasionally it is red aswell as the surrounding area on the inside of my penis, slight discomfort but usually it's remains skin coloured and doesn't bother me. There is no discharge or any fluids that seep and not blister sores. Just a narrow, slightly indented skin sore. I've been living in a remote area so I haven't had access to a blood test. I worried this is a sign of Hiv because it hasn't healed. I'm flying home shortly to get checked. Can somebody explain this?

Thanks for replying guys, definitely not molluscum contagiosom because it's not raised. It looks like a small cut on the inside of my penis. Would it be possible that this is urtheral herpes and I just have a higher threshold of pain? Or would that type of herpes always be excusiating? Sometimes I have an uncomfortable feeling in that area but never painful.

Might be molluscum contagiosum, which in retrospect is absolutely harmless; more of an annoyance. I would know because I once had it over 5 years ago. I say this because you mentioned that it was skin colored and indented (they all are).

You can get lesions anywhere, though. It's a common condition kids have. You can get them frozen off (can leave a little discolored car). Or, in my case in the end, prick them yourself with a sterilized needle and apply alcohol/iodine. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS FIRST. Go see a doctor; that's how I knew what they were. I haven't had one since I took care of them.

This is not a sign of hsv (herpes) or hiv. If you had urithral herpes you would surely know it. For one thing your sore would have progressed and healed. Next it would be very rare to have a sore on the inside and none on the outside of penis  plus you would most likely have had discharge and extreme pain while urinating. None of what you describe adds up to hsv. Get your blood tested when you get home but I am confident your issue isn't from hsv
Hope this helps
