Herpes II

I was recently diagnosed with herpes II specific antibodies with a value of 1.88 Ive been reading and noticed that 3.5 is the point where you actually have herpes II. Can someone help me out and let me know what to go by. Should I be retested to make sure.  Also I have no symptoms or anything I am very shocked scared and surprised. Thanks for helping me out.

your gf will need to be tested to see what her status is. if she is positive, you need to wait another 2 months and repeat your testing to see what it shows. If she is negative, you can seek out a herpes WB blood test to confirm your status as long as it's been at least 4 months since you last had sex with anyone else.

why did you get tested?
have you ever had oral cold sores?
a western blot test would give you a better answer.
