Herpes Lymph Node or Hernia?

12 weeks post exposure from unprotected sex, I am still experiencing strange symptoms. I've been thinking that I had swollen groin lymph nodes. But its really only on one side, and its been tender for 12 weeks now. I feel it when i walk, put on socks, or even lying down.

It is not visible and it is deep where my thigh meets my body, which i read could be a femoral hernia. The lump feels to be about the size of an olive, and when i push on it and cough, it moves.

Does this sound like a femoral hernia or something similar to what swollen lymph nodes would be?

If I was exposed to herpes 12 weeks ago, had my 1st outbreak and now this is my second outbreak, have you ever heard of someone having an outbreak in which the only symptoms were very painful nodes/nerves without any sores? And by painful I mean enough to keep me in bed for 2 days...

Anyone please help!

Hi, the best way to approach this herpes concern is to have a blood test and 8 weeks post exposure would be a good indicator otherwise we are only guessing, But if she did not have any vaginal sores at the time the risk from a one time affair would be close to zero.
