Herpes Transmission

Does the duration of an encounter matter in the transmission of herpes? If someone received unprotected oral for 5 seconds versus 10 minutes, does that affect the percentages of transmission?

Yes, of course. Something very brief is going to have less chance of transmission - less friction, less time to transmit, etc.

Think of covid - the longer you're around someone, the closer you are to them, the better your chance of getting covid from them. While the mode of transmission is different, the theory is the same.

We already told you the other day that you had nothing to worry about from a few licks.
