Herpes Symptoms

I recently had protected vaginal intercourse with a guy of unknown STD status. 4 days later, I noticed a couple of blisters a few inches above my ankle. I don't have any symptoms near my genitals nor am I experiencing any symptoms of an initial outbreak. I guess I'm wondering if the blisters associated with genital herpes can be present on areas other than the genitals. I'm concerned because I can't think of a reason for the blisters to appear where they did. Thanks for any help/advice.

you should see your provider and find out what is going on. it's not likely that your initial herpes ob would appear on your ankle so it's likely to be something else going on.
