Herpes on arm

I received oral sex unprotected about  7 weeks ago. The night after I received I instantly felt itching down below. I waited a week or so and I continued to feel itchiness and some tingling. I tested negative for all stds but didn't get tested for herpes as my doctor told me wait a while to see if any sores pop up. A few days ago (4 days) some bumps that looked like bug bites appeared on my arm below my wrist. They itched the first night but that's it. Never any pain and hasnt  itched since the Saturday morning which they appeared. My genitals still tingle and itch from time to time as certain part of the day it gets better/worse. I know that you can get herpes on your arm but my question is can you feel itchy and tingling down below and get herpes on your arm. Why wouldn't the bumps come on the genitals being as though that's where I'm feeling the symptoms. I'm waiting for my results to come back Monday but just looking for some insight until then. Thanks

Ive done a lot of research. Herpes lesions are not bumps but blister type sores with clear liquid.

I see you also have commented on other post. May I ask how you know about such? Are you a dr or someone whom had experience with such things? I'm just scared being as though these bumps came at the same time I'm feeling these feelings in my private area. The doctor tells me not to worry but how could I not? I don't want to pass anything on to someone else.

Since the itchy started the next day most likely a friction irritation from pubic hair and you started to scratch the area causing this yourself.

Thanks for your response I guess I'm really nervous because the bumps came in the same time period as my genitals feeling itchy/tingling and being as though all other std results were negative I don't know what else could be causing those feelings down there

Also the bumps are red and have remained red I scratched one and it became open while the other just appears as a small bump with no feeling. Both spots are however red. They are fading quickly but I'm very concerned

Hi, first of all if she did not have any lip sores at the time your risk of contracting herpes is close to zero. and your correct that  the initial out break would be on your penis shaft. None of what you mention suggests herpes.
