genital herpes question
My igg 1+2 combined test result is 3.78 after three months of a protected sexuak encounter the titre level mentioned in the report says that if its above 5 then its reactive I don't have herpes 1 for sure the 1 week test results after the encounter in Feb 14 were 0.78 and 0.6 for both have igg 1+2 igm 1+2 combined so worrying abt this elevation in index value I don't have ulcers kind of things but I faced the burning sensation frequent urination and two very tiny little dots on the penis shaft recently I m observe ring very very tiny blisters on my arm which are filled of some water but they never itch please guide me
If you had protected sex then any interior irritation would not be related to the sex act.
I still have some tingling kind of thing happening with some mild burning effect after 6 months of last sexual encounter what else could it be and what should I do further any specific test which can scan the urtheral tube
Thanks life for answering my post can u suggest in the other std diseases which might be causing this I had done vdrl post 4 months which is negative hep c surface antigen negative most of the std panel test are negative but I still get some tingling unmy urethra sometimes burning but very mild not sure what else to check for also one more thing I wantedto ask is why there is a fluctuation with the hsv test my all test shows value in0.0x range but that hsv either type specific and combined not showing this 0.0x else they now show 0.x which are still under negative range why they are not coming as 0.0x the test method are same also is there any chance that these level will go up later which will make me positive its been 5 months now when the value for hsv 2 is coming 0.30 please advice and is it safe to consider that with these values I will not pass anything to my parrner
Hi life360 today I got my hsv 2 igg result the kit is enzyme linked immunoassay and the value came as 0.30 and the bio reference is <0.80 so I think its negative I don't have any visible sore as of now but some tingling in my urthera along with some testicle pain when pressed gently the test result are after 5 months post exposure can u advise on this shall I take it negative from here as my combined test result was also negative the index value I mentioned previously
Also if I have hsv 2 that will only be spread via veginal sex only if I kiss someone that will not transmit it to the person or let's say a foreplay will not transmit it unless we do a penitrative sex the thing is that I m under a lot of pressure to marry but. I don't want to spoil other person life

Do u know when there will be a cure available for genital herpes I have not done much in life and just caught up with this
Also what are the chances of transmission with this condition of mine I don't have any visible sore as of now
Also after four months now its look like I m at some relief so I m thinking that what had happened was the first outbreak of herpes now will that happen again with less severity because now I have the antibodies and will these antibodies value will increase or will it remain at this value lifetime
K planning to do a hsv igg specific test and will let u know the doctors are saying that the value doesn't matter if its below the titre level and when I confirmed with them they declare it negative and confirmed I can marry I'm not sure what to do I m in a great agony I m not sure how did I caught it I only had veginal sex and I weared double condom at that time will the pcr blood test is good to do also I heard that the genital herpes cure can come in 2016 do u know abt that and have any information
Dosent matter, you still need a type specific test to determine if you have herpes. Combined is of no value. If you were negative before and 3 months its at 3.78 you may have either hsv1 or hsv2 from a recent encounter. Herpes sores are not white puss filled.
Thanks for our quick reply I don't have the report handy this time but when I first got this tested the results for both igg 1+2 and igm 1+2 were 0.7 after 3months the value for igg 1+2 get elevated to this 3.78 but igm remained constant but I had symptoms lije burning sensation frequent urination itch in penis after 3 days of the encounter its four months now but only sometimes I get some sensation in urethra but there are no blisters so far but there is Avery minute dot which looks like filled with some pus as its yellow in color but that never itch and give trouble along with this I di feel some lumps at the edges of testicles internally and when I press them there is pain please suggest and guide
Hi, to confirm you herpes status you need a type specific test not a combined . You also mention the report saying if its above 5 its reative and you dont have herpes. These makes no sense. Please post your report
