Herpes question help!!!

March 22 was my last sexual encounter with a girl

June 23, 2017 i i got tested for herpes igm combination 1-2 and igg specific 1 & 2. My results for this was 3.01 for the igm combination and 0.91 for both igg 1 & 2

I went to a infectious disease doctor and he said indefinitely i have the virus so i ask to get retested and the results for this was the igm combination 1-2  0.91 and igg for 1 &2 0.91

They both came back negative from my understanding. What are the odds that these results are conclusive that i did notncontract the virus or could my body be at the point of serconversion? Im lost guys please help

The test were all done at labcorp

Your infectious disease Dr needs a better understanding of herpes testing. You should never have been given an igm test. No std expert recommends them. Even the CDC is against the igm in adults for hsv. This test is very unreliable and wrought with false positives. You do not have hsv as your igg tests are negative.

So what made it flare the igm then the igg and igm the next month to go back to normal
Research heroes igm testing. This will help give you a better understanding of the test and why it's unreliable.
Disreguard the igm test. Retest igg only 3 months post exposure.
Never mind i see you have tested past thee months. This trumos the positive igm. I spend an incredible amount of time dealing with igm and false positives. I would say at least 3 a week.
