you have to go and have it looked at.
if you are having constipation issues, I certainly wouldn't be thinking herpes as a cause right away.
Thanks!
Final question:
I noticed that I have an anal fissure, probably because of hard stool. the area is also quite red, looks like anal eczema. Is it likely that this is herpes?
the risk of herpes from a one time encounter is very low in general.
Oh, and also, I have to urinate more often than normal...
I have an appointment with my doctor for next week..
Can you inform me what's the chance of getting herpes from this contact?
I found a lot of different info, and would like to know more about this.
thanks for your help!
nothing you've mentioned sounds herpes related.
be seen for basic urine testing and an exam.

Thank you for the quick response!
I am now on day 16 and have experienced the following:
- still itchy urinal tract
- urinating helps the itch
- pressure on lower back
- I feel constipated, stool is quite hard
- had a dull pain in my upper thigh (left)
- dull pain in testicles
all the pains were easily bearable.
Can these things be signs of herpes?
I am so worried, when you look online, I can only find contradictory information it seems :/
Everything is a symptom...
please help me out here..
washing up after sex doesn't do anything but make you less sticky. std's don't lay on the skin to work their way into the body over time - they are transmitted during the sex act itself so after the fact is too late. You can actually give yourself a chemical urethritis from getting soap and other chemicals into the urethra when scrubbing up after a sexual encounter.
since you had a condom break, you should follow up with proper std testing at the proper times. You can test for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich and ngu any time after 1 week post encounter. you can test for syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.
odds are you irritated your penis or even have a fungal infection going on. you need to follow up on this with your provider while covering your testing bases properly. nothing about your symptoms sounds like herpes going on and odds are it's not even a std.
