Welcome back.
Based on both these questions and the information in your previous thread, this still doesn't sound at all like herpes. As for transmission risk to your girlfriend, the answer is no: even if you had acquired HSV, you would not be able to transmit it 6 hours after exposure. People aren't infectious that soon; at least 2-3 days is required. And her symptoms aren't typical for herpes -- and it sounds like she isn't concerned about her symptoms anyway.
You need to let this go. Herpes simply isn't the issue here. But if you remain concerned, return to your doctor for additional evaluation and testing.
Thanks Howard. You've been a great help. I'll wait to my next dr visit and stay positive until then. Thanks again for your input. Have a great day!!!
Hi Howard. Well I got retested through a private company stdexpress, and again tested negative to all stds. They did an 8 panel test. Claumidia. Gonorrhea. Hiv 1/2. Hep abc. Herpes Igg 1/2. Syphillis. This was exactly 42 days post exposure (6 weeks) but my anxiety is till in overdrive. My girlfriend which I posted before bleeding between periods has stopped. But continues to scratch in her vaginal area (says it's from shaving) and now believes she has a bladder infection due to pressure in her lower abdomen area. I know my tests came back negative but still worried cuz of her symptoms as well. How accurate are my results at six weeks. I haven't told her about my mistake so her symptoms couldn't b anxiety related on her part. Please help!!! Started to feel a little relief after my results but now I'm back with anxiety again due to her lower abdominal pressure.
Those results are 100% reliable.
You can't go through life worrying that every ache, pain or hangnail you or your partner get in the future has something to do with that single sexual exposure. Life goes on and so should you. If you still can't let it go, I would suggest professional counseling as the next step.
Ok. Thanks again Howard. I will move on and hope for the best. Take care!!!
