Any risk at all? Worried.

Hello community, just a quick question about how herpes can be transmitted.

I have a close friend who recently told me she has had cold sores since childhood, we have recently become close enough to where she kisses me around my face (not the lips) and today she kissed me near my eye. Now, I have nothing against her signs of affection, but her revealing this truth and me going online and trying to learn have made me paranoid.
I read somewhere herpes can be transmitted to the eye from a kiss around the area, any truth to that? Sorry, I've rambled.
I appreciate any and all replies.

Forgot to mention, I have tested negative for both hsv in the past.
Should I be worried at all?
