Herpes or not ?

Ok so 6 weeks ago I had sex with a sex worker it was protected btw. 2 days later I had cold/flu symptoms for a few hours. Later my scrotom and penis became very inflammed and itchy. Iv also been experiencing back pain and headaches with fatigue. I'm also feeling nerve pain in my public area like a pin prick every while in certain spots. It's been six weeks since this encounter and I'm still feeling these symptoms on and off. Is it possible I could b having symptoms with out any outbreaks ? Also a lesion appeared in my public area and went after 3 days it was small enough and had no blisters

What you describe does not sound  hsv related at all. It's been six weeks so in a week or two go ahead and get tested. Igg type specific blood test. No igm testing. Dr's like to push this test but it's generally very useless.

It can but I think you are hyper aware of your genital area and I do not suspect hsv at all

Thanks for the quick reply ! The lesion that appeared is very worrying although it's not there anymore. Right now I have nerve pain in the pubic area like a sharp feeling or pin prick every now and then what could be the cause of this ?? I heard herpes attacks the nerves.

None of what you describe sounds like a primary outbreak at all. Hsv symptoms without lesions is a dead give away and hsv symptoms don't last six weeks.
