So as i said the doctor did another IGG test and a swab and both came back negative
And last thing, if my first test was a 3.2 wouldn't more than one of my following tests be positive and be of a higher value or at leas the same since the value would be lower early one???
I should add that it was 2 years ago I had the first 3 tests and just had the most recent IGG test last week. I went to the doctor this week and he did another IGG test and I have been having some recurring inflamattion on my tounge and in my mouth. Looking at the inflamattion the doctor did not feel it was herpes and was not going to do any testing until I pretty much begged him to just for my piece of mind. He was concerned about me paying for a test I did not need, which I appreciated, but I have really good insurance so its not a problem.
Well that shouldn't be a problem with the 3 month post exposure test since its been almost 3 years now that I look at the calender again.
Hi, youll need one more blood test to confirm your hsv2 status as you have had 2 low positives. Swabs are only good for showing a positive but with many false negatives.
At this point have the western blot test as this would be conclusive and have it done 3 months post exposure.
