Herpetic Whitlow?

I started to get these lumps on my thumb about two weeks ago. It started with one now there are 4-5. I also have 2 on one of my fingers on my other hand.

The lumps are slightly raised and painful when pressed. Also they seem to have a small dark spot/fluid bubble, which is growing in size as these lumps have developed.

From searching on the internet I have found an image that's very similar to what I have. Apparently it's Herpetic Whitlow, however I can't find any other images that resemble what I have, so I'm not really sure if the image I found online is actually Herpetic Whitlow.

Online image I found: http://www.drhull.com/EncyMaster/W/herpetic_whitlow.html

Thoughts?

it's located under the "important announcements" tab on the forum.

this isn't likely to be whitlow. It would be unusual for whitlow to occur on this many different areas. Be seen promptly for a proper exam by a medical professional.

If you read in our "read before posting" post, you'll see we don't look at pics.

You need to be seen for proper testing to know what's going on. We'd only be guessing.
