Hello,
I asked a previous question and it was answered. Thank you.
Update on my situation with some follow up questions.
I do believe I am experiencing anxiety related symptoms but would like to put this to rest. It is constantly on my mind.
Here is my story.
4 weeks ago, received protected oral sex from two CSW. Was heavily intoxicated but do not believe the condom broke or was insufficient. One of CSW removed the condom and wiped me down with a warm towel. This entire event lasted 10-15 minutes.
2 Weeks post incident, mild burning sensation in penis. Urge to go, etc. Had a complete STI / STD 10 Panel STD Test complete. Results all negative. Felt good about results.
At 3 weeks began to feel the mild discomfort / burning again. Went to an Express Medical facility. Told them my story. Did a routine urinalysis. Clean. Physical exam, Clean.
Two days later, felt the need to speak with a Urologist. Booked appointment, told him my story. He too, trusted my results, performed an exam, did UTI, all results were negative / clean. Told me to drink plenty of fluids that this was likely anxiety.
Felt good for a bit....but then arm pains and waves of nausea. Pain in penis went away, then aching testicles.
The coming and going further cements my belief that the constant worry is causing these symptoms.
Yesterday, wanted to have further closure, went and took an Oraquick HIV test. Results also negative.
I understand that a conclusive result for HIV is not available until 3 months post encounter. I also understand that the chance of getting HIV from Oral is next to nothing.
I guess I am just panicked and sorely disappointed in myself.
I am married. Happily.
We have had unprotected sex twice since the incident ( a week after and two weeks 3 days after ). She was complaining of headaches and stiff neck and nausea intermittently. It obviously freaked me out.
I would ask the following:
1. HIV is not an issue - and while not conclusive - my two negative tests are accurate enough to assuage these fears, correct?
2. No outbreak at 4 weeks = no Herpes, correct?
3. Syphillis is remote as week and given no sore, Should be in the clear, should I test again for this?
4. Hep B. 2 week results were negative - should I test again?
5. Is it a genuine possibility that the "moving" symptoms, including the sensation of leaking urine, etc. is truly IN MY MIND? They feel very very real.
Thanks all. I am working to move forward and understand that this mistake does not define me as a person. I am not infallible and must use this as an opportunity to reaffirm my self believe system and rededicate myself to my relationship....
