I think I got me first bump : (
So my scrotum has been sorta burny lately. I thought is was possibly due to me focusing on herpes but I was looking at it and found a single red bump. Its a small red bump with what looks like a white colored top. Sound like the virus? Bahh, I only slept with her once!!! Gahhh.
Oh and thank you about hoping it is all in my head. I hope everything is all in your head too. This will definitely be a big eye opener. I honestly don't think I will have sex with anyone till she is honestly the right person. And even then, We are going to the clinic and getting tested for everything and reading our results together before the hole exploration. Can't be living this stressful lifestyle.
Yeah man, it it pretty scary! And certainly makes you think you contracted something. I know exactly what your talking about with the achyness. For instance I went to class today then got out and the rest of the day my butt has been super sore. That never happens when I go to class. Also my neck was super sore as well. Whats up with all this achyness lately? My joints hurt when I just bend down and such. I never felt like this before, at least I didn't notice, (which it seems like I would have...) And to make matters even more confusing, I noticed a big white blister on my lip today and I said omg, I do have herpes!... Then I looked up pictures of oral herpes and it looked nothing like what I got. Herpes is supposed to be in clusters, pop open, painful blister or blisters, then crust over crust over yellow in a few days. and this was just one single white blister that looked like it would pop at any moment. I then did research (of course) and many people said they get this from tooth paste. I was using organic tooth paste for a year then my mom just recently bought me regular sodium fluoride toothpaste about a week ago... The blister popped earlier today and it didn't hurt, then by nighttime there was white fluid in it again and it raised again. I don't think it is herpes, but this certainly is like ever symptom!
I am not worried about hsv 1, although it will be a bummer. But hsv 2 is definitely a concern.
Yes Timmin, I would test now at 10 weeks. Which would be awesome. Although! I need to save up $240 and I only work 3 days a week because I attend school. It will take me about 3 to 4 weeks to save this up, (which I will be starting this week, ~since christmas, new semester books, classes, and such) so I will most likely be testing at 13 week, or 14 week which will be cool.
Yah this waiting game is brutal... No fun. Especially when you feel you got it, but for some reason arn't having outbreaks. Did you have an outbreak Nervous Guy? How many times did you sleep with the person? Did you use a condom?

I tursted her of course, used a condom for a while, then went unprotected (silly mistake) she gave me claymedia. she then said she doesnt "think" she has herpes but knew they where itchy painful sores. so, I honestly can't trust her and wish I never even slept with her, but too late for that stuff now. I just hope she wasn't having an outbreak or wasn't shedding or really doesn't have herpes.

Get tested. Stop worrying about what might not be an issue for you.

Don't take my word for it. Spend some time looking at what Terri Warren has said - within the past few weeks - about how rare it is for someone to seroconvert after being negative at 10 weeks.

I most certainly know what your going through, i too am in the exact same boat, i feel as though i've been noticing every slight change in my body. I'm paranoid all day, if my leg falls asleep, or if my upper back has been achey and sore for a few days, i always resort to omg it has to be hsv2. I have had some flaking and dryness on my crown and only under the skin with some tiny red dots, not bumps as they are not raised, I'm also not cut. I went to my Dr. A few days ago and showed him my penis, he took one look, pulled my skin back and called it balanitis and gave me some anti fungal. So far its going away, but my upper back has been achey for two weeks now, and i have briefly felt the bruised butt cheek feeling you speak of. But is this normal if it is hsv2? Ive read that achiness come for a few days prior to outbreak and then goes away. Mine has been continuous. I do plan to get tested around the 16 week mark as I'm coming up on 13 weeks since potential exposure, I'm hoping your doing well and that all your symptoms are simply in your head.
Sorry for not getting back to you Grace. I believe it was not a lesion, because they are still there and haven't changed. I still have not had any open sores. Its been 10 weeks. But I have been having sticky ness down there on the scrotum and under the shaft. It was itchy sometimes, but sticky, burny, and red on my scrotum for about a day or two then went away. Then about 4 days later it came back and is here right now. Just like an sticky red part on the left side of scrotum. Does this sound like it would be herpes? I feel like it might just be jock itch. No tingling down there.
The only main symptoms that concerns me is that I got very ill about 3 weeks after one night of unprotected sex with the now ex girlfriend. I had night sweats, felt like vomiting, weak feeling in legs, and a swollen lymph node under my armpit. I never had a swollen lymph before so it was pretty scary to me. My armpits where also burning, and itched for a night. I also had a weird shooting pain around this time in my urethra for only one night but It did not hurt to urinate. I also had a very sore buttocks at one point during this when I woke up? Like it was bruised on both cheeks. I don't have hsv 1. So I feel maybe it was my body making anti bodies for hsv 2 but it seems like I would have had an outbreak? I did have a very painful thing behind my ear, it felt like a huge pimple and hurt to even rest my finger on it. It was there for like 3 days? And a red rash like thing on my forehead too at this time. It burned. But did not turn into sores or nothing. I don't know if the one behind my ear was a sore, because I could not see.
I did have like a uti too just this past week. (9 to 10 weeks after exposure) Before I was about to urinate it felt like it was going to burn but when urinating it was normal. I had frequent urges to urinate and a burning feeling at the tip of the urethra. So did natural remedies for uti's and it seems to have cleared up.
So much weird stuff has been happening!!! But maybe it has always been happening, but I just never noticed because I was not thinking I was in any danger. (not that herpes is dangerous) but my fight or flight mode was not on and I was never really concentrating on my body so much.

if you think you have a herpes lesion, be seen today for a lesion culture, not wait for blood testing.

o, Wait. you said wouldn't. I read that wrong. But I looked at it again, it actually doesn't have a white top, it must have been a reflection from the lighting. It is all red, raised, and glossy looking.

I bet its got this hard little white bead in the middle of it that is either rock solid or might yield hard pus? That wouldn't be herpes.
