Pending Herpea Outbreak?

This is a follow up on a previous post...

It's been 8 days since the encounter I described and I'm somewhat of a mess. I have not had an outbreak at this point and although my penis discomfort/pain has decreased I can still feel something.  For the past few days I've had general itching on my thighs and butt and my anus has been burning but that could be because I've been sick to my stomach for a week and haven't had a solid BM in a while.

With that said, have a few questions:

1 - What would my pain/itching level be prior to an outbreak?  Should it be severe enough that it affects my day to day life or is it pretty bearable?

2 - Is it true that an outbreak can be confused for jock itch?  I feel like I have that (but it may be mental) and I don't see any sores or even a rash but it definitely itches.

3 - Is it most common for an outbreak to happen in 14 days or less?  Not sure I can mentally handle longer than that. My penis looks normal but I keep waiting to take a **** and see sores all over. Is that realistic of how it would happen?

Thanks for your help.

Having to urinate often is from the stress and from inspection. Very common in people with high anxiety over an encounter.
Yes most outbreaks happen 3-10 days after exposure. 4 days is the average.

Someone  like you who is on the look out will notice a primary outbreak. Most primary outbreaks are not that subtle.

You probably wouldn't  have pain or itching until  the sores arrive.  This is one of those symptoms taken out of context. Believe  me if you had a primary outbreak you'd  know it.

Thanks for your comment, that is very helpful and it gives me comfort to know that I can stop reading into small things and over analyzing.

I've had pain for a while now without the sores, maybe it's a sign of something else. I'll pray a herpes outbreak never happens.

Thank you again.
