Thank you for reading. Maybe some of you with experience can clarify the following for me.
I've read that some people do not show signs of genital herpes, but may still carry and pass on the virus. They may not know that they have genital herpes because they might have had a very mild initial outbreak (rare) and not have noticed it, or thought it was something else entirely.
My question is, if you are infected with genital herpes, will there always be an initial outbreak, or can you show no signs at all? Secondly, does the initial outbreak always produce vesicles and lesions?
