what is this?

Hi. So this is a bit awkward but I every now and then get these little sore bumps near the lips or at the bottom of my vagina. Sometimes they have pus in them and sometimes they don't. They usually get irritated by underwear or when I touch them. Is this genital warts? My boyfriend has been checked and is clean but I'm scared of finding out I have something. Any help is welcomed!!

Genital warts are small and usually solid with no puss.  Best bet is to get an HSV PCR swab as soon as they appear.  This will test for any viral DNA and is very sensitive.

your symptoms could be many things going on but they are definitely not genital warts. warts don't come and go and they never have pus in them.  Best thing to do is to be seen and get a proper work up started to try to figure out what is going on. Odds are you've never been tested for herpes either so while it's on your mind, you and your partner both pursuing type specific herpes igg blood testing is never a bad idea to see what each others status is.
