My friend has been tested for Herpes and she has never had any meds but has been using only herbal  products, she has never had an outbreak yet still the tests show that the IGg is getting higher all the time.
the onoy this is that when ever her oeriod that her virgina would itch for a few minutes and no more, she has been using Prenulla Valgaris, zinc, vit.c and lysine, she looks much healthier than ever and feels good,  But worries about the out break.   today her test shows that the igg is at 2,5 and was told that she iwll have an out break, she has been on herbs for four months  and has not had an outbreak.  could anyone explain why.

Also if her hsv2 igg is only 2.5 and she's never had an obvious lesion genitally, she really needs to pursue a herpes WB blood test to confirm her status. Not sure if you were posting her results correctly or not.

boosting the immune system doesn't seem to have any effect on herpes.

Thanks for the info,  From the incept of this diagnose she began to detox the body and then changed her lifestyle, she was heavy but has reduced  and has been on herbs and vitamins from that time, she only has itching for a minute during her menstration, Other than that she is ok.

The only problem is that she blames herself and it seems to be worrying her she has not accepted  her illness  and she really wants a miracle , I feel that if she does not move on and continue to keep her immune system boosted she will get  a breakout.    I have heard that pesons that do not accept their illness could have a nervous breakdown , is that true? Her job is also stressful, although she has never had a breakout she worries about her illness.
What advoce can you give someone who is  that  stressful .

The igg getting higher and higher is meaningless.   Not quite sure why she continues to have it drawn repeatedly?  I think she's seeing a provider who isn't all that knowledgeable about herpes testing unfortunately.

Itching for a few minutes is normal.

The herbs she is using have not been shown to be effective against herpes in animals or people. we have no established doses for them to prove their effectiveness. We also have no idea if they have any effect on viral shedding or not.
