Did I transmit herpes?

I got tested for herpes two years ago and it came back a very low number on the scale and a retest was suggested. I'm going in tomorrow but tonight got intimate with a guy I'm dating and he rubbed his penis against me and inserted it quickly and took it out. is there a chance i transmitted anything to him? Im planning on telling him I just wanted to wait for my new results.

While no one can guarantee you didn't infect him, assuming you are positive, the encounter you describe was probably brief enough that it is unlikely you would have  transmitted your infection to him, assuming you are positive.

In addition, if you are truly infected, you have an absolute moral and ethical obligation to inform any and all partners about your infection before any contact takes place.
