Outbreak

I was diagnosed with hsv 1 & 2 recently, and I've never had a cold sore, but I have had some vaginal problems. Since last spring, I have had about three or four "outbreaks" but each time my symptoms are different. For example, right now, I'm experiencing a cluster of small, flat-ish red bumps. no liquid is inside, but there seems to be a very, very small opening. it's hard to describe. Does this sound like an outbreak, or could it be something else? Perhaps hpv?

Thank you.

Was it definitely IgG testing? Assuming it was, a 2 reading or thereabouts needs confirmation. It would be about 50/50 as to whether you have HSV2.

Consider a Westernblot test to provide confirmation.

I'm assuming it was, I went thru lapcorp, so they tested for both. like everyone, I'm just trying to accept this, it just seems so odd to me. I have read about the western blot... I guess that it the best option from here.
Thank you for your response.

thanks for your response, fleetwood. i did type specific testing because I never had been tested for hsv before, hsv 1 was 4.0, hsv 2 was 2.0 or maybe a little less. no higher than that, though.

What testing did you have that suggested you had both HSV1 and 2? What were the individual IgG results?
