Please keep to this one post so we can follow your issues more readily.
What was the positive level for your particular test? Was it 1.1 or 20 for example?
Do you have HSV1? You indicate you have never had symptoms genitally?
If your partner has never had symptoms since being with you then you are unlikely to have infected them, however, they may have an established infection from before your relationship (as a possibility).
It was 3.1 I believe I'm answering U correctly..... But I had no symptoms orally or gential
The weird thing is when I was pregnant I was tested and didn't have hsv 2 but I had hsv 1 and on these new results I have hsv 2 and hsv didn't show up, my boyfriend told me he was diagnosed with hsv 1 when was 25 never no cold sores for either of us NEVER
Your result was 3.1, I understand that. But for your test was this positive? For some tests you need to be over 1.1 and others over 20 for example.
As you have HSV1 this does increase the chances of a false positive.
If you have only been with your partner since your negative test and they are negative then you are unlikely to have HSV2.
Oh I understand it said over 1.1 is positive but again said I didn't have hsv 1 but I had hsv 2 and when I took the these before it said I had hsv 1 but not 2 that's why I'm confused
As per your other post, consider the Westernblot test for sorting out your HSV status.
