need a answer soon

I am going to court for a final hearing on my divorce, which part of the final is did I know or should I have known I had herpes according to my wifes GYN.  I had been tested in July 07.  The results were HSV1 IgG  2.1 index neg1.0.  HSV11 IgG >6.0  Index Negor =1.1.  Then HSV 1/11 combination <0.91  Neg 1.09.  My primary says I have an old infection somewhere in my body and (cannot determin), no recent infection, My wife is wanting after 4 months marriage 200.00 a month for pain and suffering for the rest of my life as well as paying all medications for her infection and any other problems that may arise from the infection.  I have tried to explain a million times I never knew I had herpes, but fell on deaf ears,  My attorney said not to worry.  My question is with those results is that a high antibody count  or is that  that the norm for an old infection?.

oh you typed hsv2 as hsv II I see - yes that does change my answer. I assumed it was a typo and should've asked.

Your hsv2 igg of 6 is a clear positive so no additional testing needed. As for the rest - hire an expert who testifies on herpes at trials for your side unless you can get your spouse to agree to drop that part of it all.

On my test results HSV1 IgG was 2.1 and HSV2 was >6.0.  The IgM combination  one and two was <0.91, Does that change your reply from before??.  Please let me know.  Thanks Raven2

A hsv2 igg of 2.1 actually needs further confirmatory testing to see if you even have hsv2 or not. It's a low positive and I suggest a herpes WB to confirm it.

Your lawyer is the one that needs to do the paper trail to prove that you never knew you had genital herpes, if indeed you have it and if indeed you did give it to your wife while you were married. Plenty of experts out there who testify at trials for this sort of stuff to chose from.
