Other Symptoms

I have read quite alot about Herpes, however, I have a few questions I would like to ask as this website seems very helpful.

On Thursday I started with itching on the tip of my penis.
On Friday the itching continued and I got the odd pain in my groin.
On Saturday there was only a slight itch, however, the pain in my groin became quite bad and my penis started to swell slightly.
On Sunday the pain was throughout my penis and my penis was swollen, however, there wasn't much itching.
On Monday the pain started to subside slightly from my penis however, a strange pain started in my pelvis, and in my rectum.
On Tuesday I got a STD test and am waiting for the results
On Wednesday the pain had subsided but the itching came back and the swelling started to go down
On Thursday the pain had gone however, it is itching quite a bit again and my 'helmet' is slightly red.

I have no spots, or visible sores, I have not had a fever, headache or discharge. I have had slight muscle aches but this might be just coincidence.

I am VERY worried that I might have Herpes and would just like to know if there symptoms are known to happen to anyone else?

Thank you for you time

Davey

Sorry Davey for confusing you with my post.. didn't intend that.. I am no expert but from everything I read, plus like Petal said.. you are 100% safe from herpes. I did not mean to confuse/scare you.

Ok Petal thank you for your reassurance. Could you please direct me to which thread in the expert form refers to mutual mastibation.

Thank you for your time

No, it's not. There's a reason grace stated "oh then this isn't herpes!!!" It's because you stated you were a virgin. justcurious25 has his own specific issues unrelated to yours, so don't be confused by it.

I am sorry Grace to ask one last question but, do you know if a pain in the groin and penis, and a swollen penis, is a normal or heard of symptom of Herpes?

Thank you again for you advice

You are a virgin. Mutual masturbation is not a risk for herpes. It's stated time and time again on the expert's forum.

The pain was exactly where you said, it was very uncomfortable and started on the right side of my penis, it then gradually went up my shaft and into the head of my penis, this move was over a couple of days. And the itchyness wasn't really tingling it was more of an annoying itch that needed to be rubbed. I am getting my results on soon, so will let you know on here. I have no blisters and have no obvious spots, just redness on my head.

Hi Davey,

I had very similar symptoms as you had without the swolleness.. I am also in a state of fear of having herpes and am very worried so if you figure out, or get a diagnosis of what you may have please update and let me know. Where was the pain in your groin? was it on the sides of the testicles like where your thigh meets the genitals? and you say itching on tip of penis, was it sort of like a sensitive feeling/tingly that needed to be rubbed?

Thank you again for your advice! You are a very patient and giving person to be doing this voluntarily.

it's really low risk, if any risk at all.

Ok, thanks Grace, I am sorry but just one last question, how likely is it to get Herpes from Mutual mastibation if I touched my penis after touching her vagina? You can catch it from that cant you as it is still skin to skin contact?

Thank you for your advice I really appreciate it.

oh then this isn't herpes!!!

could be an allergic reaction to something, a fungal infection or even a bacterial infection going on. At this point since symptoms are almost all gone, not much you can do. I wouldn't bother with any std testing and just follow up with your provider promptly should this occur again.

I haven't I'm a virgin, however, I touched my penis during the mutual mastibation with the same hand as the one I touched her with.

Thanks again for your response

this could be herpes as well as many other things hence all the questions I've asked.

how long prior to this had you last had genital sex?

It was about two weeks and we only did mutual mastibation. I haven't used any lubes at all, or condoms as we didn't have sex. Do they sound like the symptoms of Herpes? I am very worried.

Thank you for your response

also have you used any new lubes lately, any "heating" "for her/his pleasure" lubes or condoms lately either?

They said they weren't sure what it was. There was nothing visible just they pain and slight redness. They also said that my lymph nodes were fine. How long after the tingling does it take for the blisters or spots to arrive?

Thank you for your response, I am very grateful
