Painfully Itchy bumpy labia

Hi there,

Around 3 weeks ago, my outer vagina lips began to itch immensely and become so sensitive to underwear. I could not wear anything without it rubbing and becoming more and more irritated and painful. I thought it may be a yeast infection and maybe the underwear which was slightly damp was rubbing at my skin..

I bought some Vagisil and started washing as frequently as possible which helped a little, but not much.
But now, although the itching has mostly stopped, the irritated skin seems to be damaged and red, like a scar and i'm very scared it will not heal because it is noticeable and looks horrible. There are still (what I think is) tiny painful spots/ under the skin lumps which will not go away are tender and bleed if I itch them...

I am very scared because I slept with somebody once, about 2 months ago, who later told me he had herpes a few years ago and I am so angry he didn't tell me. We did use a condom...

I am going to go to the walk in clinic tomorrow but reading online, it seems that Herpes cannot be detected for 3 months...

Could this be anything else?
The extreme itching, rash like irritation which has scarred and very tiny bumps at lower outer lips...

Please help!

they can do lesion cultures on active symptoms for herpes but at this point, it's far too late for them to be done.

going to be seen is the best course of action .they can test you for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too.

the odds of contracting genital herpes from a one time protected encounter is very low. Odds are also that symptoms would've shown up before 2 months after the encounter too.

And another thing, during this time, mostly at the beginning of the ordeal, and a little now, there were little cuts and tears on my vaginal lips, and the space between my anus and vagina which were extremely painful.
