Does this now sound like Herpes?

Hi Grace,

I have previously posted on the STD expert forum but I am really hoping to get your opinion as well - there have been some new things I've experienced and I think that thread has run its course anyhow.

52 days ago I received/gave unprotected oral. After protected vaginal that unfortunately led to unprotected vaginal. Exactly 1.5 days later I experienced a tingling/very slight burning at tip of penis. no pain urinating, no discharge, no obvious blisters/lesions. at the onset I also had what felt like pressure/slight pain in the perineum area bu that has gone away

throughout those 50 days pain at tip would leave for a day or 2 or 3 and come back. at one point couple weeks ago i had dull ache in left testicle accompanied by slight mucus like discharge. still no obvious blisters/lesions although sometimes i feel a tingling all over my genital area on occasion.

I have been three times to 2 different std clinics. chlam/gon/ngu have come back negative. visual inspection has been normal.

I am just now more scared as I have had a mild leg pain only in my right leg for almost 2 days now. don't remember having something like this before. I sit a lot for work but am really concerned right now. I would like to think none of this sounds specifically like herpes but a lot of it sounds borderline. i have never had cold sores and I would like to think if I did have HSV2 genitally I would have developed more obvious blisters/lesions by now.

Thanks Grace for anything you have to say.

Many things cause leg pain.  Herpes really isn't the root of all illness :)

Hi Grace,

thanks so much for your reply. I seriously don't mean to beat a dead horse but can you please comment/confirm something?

My leg pain which started about late Sun night and lasted through Tuesday afternoon, went away Tues evening somewhat. I was so scared this was a prodrome as I have read SO MUCH about people with herpes saying they feel this same type of pain.

but since i still have no obvious blisters/lesions by now does that pretty much confirm this is 100% unrelated?

Thanks so much.

Honestly there is absolutely nothing I could possibly add to what Dr Hook has already said. Nothing sounds like herpes going on. You've ruled out other std's.
