Blister on Finger... Herpes?

Hiya...

I made a BIG mistake on Friday night and had an unprotected one-night stand... I know, huge mistake, I feel like a total idiot. My question about it is, yesterday, Monday afternoon, I noticed a blister on the top of my middle finger, like where a ring would go, on the other side of the palm. It looked like a typical water blister, about a centimeter in diameter, and when I monkeyed with it a little it popped and all the water came out. A little later I noticed 2 much smaller blisters, each on its own and about a half a centimeter away from the larger one.  They have appeared to heal.  They are not really itchy or painful.  No other blisters have since appeared anywhere on my body.  Is it possible that this could be Herpes? It had only been about 2 and a half days in between intercourse and when they first arrived.

Either way, I already have an appointment to get tested and will be talking to the doctor about it then, but it's not for a few days and right now it's all that I can think about.

Thanks for any advice!

I have a crazy blister on my middle finger also.  A girl just told me she has herpes. They took a biopsy of the puss and was negative. However 5 days of anti biotics have not helped this big horrible infection on my finger.  Doctor gave me herpes medicine now just in case.  I read a finger herpes could spread to hand and to brain. But I don't know for sure if I have it. I had safe sex at the time too.

Yes, and I'm sorry for the repost and I don't mean to spam up the place or anything like that, but on another forum on a different site someone said it might be Herpes so I figured I would come to this forum specifically instead of the more general forum on this site.  I also tried to provide more info than the previous post.  The other forum said that it was a possibility that blisters on the finger could be Herpes.  If that is not the case though, then once again I'm sorry for the repost, and thank you for your time.

this is the exact same question you already posted on the webmd std forum and received an answer to.
