Risk from one time encounter

4 days ago I had a one time encounter with a very sexually active person. I had protected anal sex (I was the one inserting) for about 3-4 minutes. On top of the condom I had sex with my boxers on and poked it out of the boxer brief hole to make sure there was no skin to skin contact. I was just wondering if I should be worried or not. I tried my best to be as safe as possible. I checked the area before and there were no sores visible. As of 4 days later I have no signs of anything.

And you should expect nothing.

You used a condom and kept your boxers on.

It's about as safe as you can get.

Is dry skin a symptom of herpes? I have some dry skin towards the bottom of  my penis. I read online that is a symptom of herpes.
I don't know where you read that, but it is not.

Please remember that you made sure there was no skin to skin contact. There is no way you could have gotten herpes.
It’s on a bunch a random websites that claim there are symptoms of herpes that aren’t the traditional type of symptoms. One being dry skin. I did my best to have no skin to skin contact but not sure if there was any or not. Kind of hard to do when you are in the act. Thank you for your help!
You're welcome. :)
