Do i have anything to worry about

I am a heterosexual female. And last night I performed oral sex on a male that i dont know very well and immediatly i became paranoid. That night I bit my lip alot because i was very nervous. The next morning i found a small whitehead on my lip where i had been biting my lip that night. I dont know if its just from me biting it... then all today i looked up symptoms of STDs that can be transmitted from oral sex. I dont know if the symptoms are in my head or really happening. Then i looked at the back of my throat and my tonsils had a small white mark on one and other tiny ones on the other. But the thing is my throat was hurting me (feeling soar) before last night. And one of my lymph noads on the back of my head is soar. I dont know what to think do i have anything to worry about? I dont know if the white lumps on my throat are from me getting sick or from giving oral to someone i dont really know.

Actually jetflight your first bit is wrong - herpes symptoms show up within 2-20 days of being infected, not 2-5 weeks.    The average is 5 days post exposure.

Otherwise streggi I completely agree with jetflight and jess - this most likely is not a std. see your provider today and get a throat culture. It's already getting to be that time of the year when colds, flu and strep throat and many other viral illnesses are going around so suspecting a std right away is probably the wrong guess.

I'm certainly not an expert, and wouldn't be  irresponsible in completely ruling out herpes, but you're being just a bit paranoid about the whole thing.

1- Herpes manifests itself between 2-5 weeks after exposure. I don't think I've ever read about 1 week, much less a day.
2- IF your symptoms are not mind driven, what you probably caught is a cold or a flu.
3- Impossible to know if you contracted any std from last night except a yeast, maybe.
4- Your whiteheads from biting your lip. Hands down
5- The neck pain is probably from bobbing your head. We can tell you're not used to to the motion.

Good luck, and chill out.

And my body is achy and i feel like im coming down with something. I also read that herpes has a flu like side affect. Is this right or am i overreacting once again?

I don't know if you have anything, but you wouldn't get symptoms of any std that fast.

You might want to see your doctor about the sore throat - might be strep.
