Actually jetflight your first bit is wrong - herpes symptoms show up within 2-20 days of being infected, not 2-5 weeks. The average is 5 days post exposure.
Otherwise streggi I completely agree with jetflight and jess - this most likely is not a std. see your provider today and get a throat culture. It's already getting to be that time of the year when colds, flu and strep throat and many other viral illnesses are going around so suspecting a std right away is probably the wrong guess.

I'm certainly not an expert, and wouldn't be irresponsible in completely ruling out herpes, but you're being just a bit paranoid about the whole thing.
1- Herpes manifests itself between 2-5 weeks after exposure. I don't think I've ever read about 1 week, much less a day.
2- IF your symptoms are not mind driven, what you probably caught is a cold or a flu.
3- Impossible to know if you contracted any std from last night except a yeast, maybe.
4- Your whiteheads from biting your lip. Hands down
5- The neck pain is probably from bobbing your head. We can tell you're not used to to the motion.
Good luck, and chill out.
I have been lookin up symptoms online and it says before a break out you have a tingly feeling and i have that in my throat/ mouth i dont know if i should be worried. And my body is achy and i feel like im coming down with something. I also read that herpes has a flu like side affect. Is this right or am i overreacting once again?
what are some symptoms that i should look for in the first stages of herpes? and how soon would i get the symptoms
I don't know if you have anything, but you wouldn't get symptoms of any std that fast.
You might want to see your doctor about the sore throat - might be strep.
