Shaving/Shedding

Hello,

My ob healed in 4 days without any symptoms! It was the third ob after 2 years and after the inital this was nothing just itchy little pimple. lol :)

Anyways, I have couple of question and I need your answers!

1- My OB's healed like 5-6 days ago no syptoms at all and planing to have sex with bf this saturday so is it safe to have sex now or should I wait? (no symptom or anything everything is normal back there )

2- My bf always shaves his down south :( I ask him to not to do that but he doesn't feel like clean the other way, I told him to trimming but its really hard for him so I know its a bit risky but we use latex condoms + daily valtrex for me since the first day?

He didn't show sypmtoms since his first negative test (1.5 years ago) but I assume that he didn't catch it yet. And I prefer to stay like that

Taking antivirls does aide in limiting outbreaks as inhibits the virus from multiply but to be honest with you, using a condom would be the advised also  and him not coming in contact with your breakout areas is most important. Breakouts and shedding tent to  occur in the same area. Avoiding these areas would be advisable. Using condoms, taking antivirals and avoid skin contact to breakout areas would reduce his risk considerably BUT there is still a risk.

Hi, taking meds and using condoms would greatly reduce his exposure but there is still a chance. Do you have hsv1 or 2?
