Burning Sensation.
37 days (or 5 weeks) post unprotected encounter. Tested negative for all std’s at 2 weeks and 4 weeks. Never had any sores or lesions.
At 4 weeks I developed a burning sensation on the left hand side of my penis shaft. It’s now been there at various levels of intensity for 11 days now. It’s never developed a sore or lesion, or even had redness for that matter. Does herpes act like that? Does it sound like a symptom?

Did u rest for hsv1 and hsv2? You need to do blood work IGG type specific testinf for both types of herpes

Yes. Tested negative for both 1&2 on Type Specific IgG test at 5 weeks now. Burning sensation has subsided for the most part after being constant for roughly 2 weeks with no sores or redness at all.
