Herpes or Gonorrhoea?

When I had a first out break I went to the doctors and was told it was herpes (There was no official test for it done, just doctors word, but I got tested 2 weeks ago and has come back as Gonorrhoea? Is it possible that the first time I went, it was Gonorrhoea and the doctor just got it mistaken with Herpes? Very upset, but need your help.

Hi a genital sore outbreak is herpes and a white puss penis discharge is gono. completly different symtpoms.

I am a female and searched it up that it is quite common for women to get sores with gono and herpes this is why I was asking. I had no symptoms for either by the way apart from sores.
