Hello,
I had my last blood test for herpes on June 7th and was negative, and have only had one protected sexual encounter since then on June 8th. I have been tested for all other STD's after that and was negative, but I know it is too early for another blood test for herpes.
This morning (1 month later) I woke up with 4 pinhead sized red bumps on my inner thigh (just outside/at the edge of the hairline, below where the crease of your leg meets your hip, hence my worry) and one larger one about an inch away. They do not itch or burn and do not look fluid filled. Yet their location is worrying me as they do not look like ingrown hairs either.
I obviously have a lot anxiety about these symptoms but am just wondering what the likelihood of having this mild of an initial outbreak is? after 1 month?//from one encounter?//the location?//no itching, burning or other symptoms?
I am in Canada and the last time I tried to get bumps swabbed for herpes they said they could not because there was no open sore, but I know that herpes can present in many ways, so I guess here is my only option to find some clarity.
Thank you.
