Test results positive for both?
I got tested for all STD's at my last annual and I got the bad news of being positive for HSV 1 and HSV 2. After reading online I have heard it could be a false positive or that I do have both. I am hoping it is a false positive. My results were as follows HSV-1 1.57 and HSV-2 2.36. I have never had an outbreak down there but I have had cold sores. Has anyone else had similar results and have an idea what they mean? I am going to retest in five months but why can't I figure out how to get the biokitusa or where to go to get another test that could be more definitive?
his results were negative....what is other people's experience? he doesn't know what he wants to do anymore. So now it is time for us to take apart until he knows?! :( This hurts so bad!!! Anyone have a similar experience or have any idea what I should do? I thought things were going to be fine until he got his results. He made it seem like it would be and then bam changed his mind!!! :(

Thanks did not realize I had submitted twice until after I did it. How do I get the WB blood test and what is the expense of that? I saw before it is expensive, what is the definition of expensive? hundreds, thousands?

you already knew you had hsv1 since you have a history of cold sores.
your hsv2 igg is a low positive. you can confirm it with a herpes WB blood test 4 months after you last had sex to see if it's a false positive or not.
