Could it be herpes?

I did have sex with someone with genital herpes. I did have burning and itching. At 4 weeks I tested negative so I took Monistat and my discharge, burning and itching completely went away. (I had a csection not long before the sexual encounter so the doctor said it could very well be a yeast infection since Monistat wouldn't clear up herpes symptoms like that). However, I have a constant tingling, always. If I'm up and moving I don't really notice it because I'm not really paying attention to it but I notice it a lot when I'm sitting or not doing anything. I haven't had a herpes blister at all. I got tested at 6 weeks, negative. Went back a little over 7 weeks and had other tests done for herpes and so forth and they came back negative as well. I'm still freaking out about it because the ********* failed to tell me until afterwards (go figure)

Hi, since testing at 8 weeks is a good indicator testing negative at 7 is not likely to change so i feel you can be confident you did not contract it.
