Could this be a HVS2 Symptom ive been having for 3 yrs. now?

Now this is long please bare with me here my Daughters Father went to the Doc. Tuesday for bumps an they said he might have HVS2 but the test results wont be back till next week. Now i have no sores that im aware of at this point but i cant get the Blood Test till next week because they said i cant get it till its been 2 weeks after possible exposure. Now about 3 yrs. ago i started having a yellowish/green vaginal discharge sometimes it can be watery with no smell an it differs every month in consistency. I had just started the Birth Control Patch Ortho Evra 3 weeks prior to starting to have this symptom so i assumed at the time it was a side effect to starting the Patch. It went on for 6 months an got really bad to the point where i really thought i had an STD of some kind. I went in the Doc. examined me did a Culture for Chlymydia an said he thought i had BV so he gave me the creme for it an i tested negative for Chlymydia. The creme seemed to work till i had sex 2 weeks later then a few days later the discharge was back so i waited another few months till i went in for my Pap. I saw another Doc. at this point an she said from the test results i didn't have BV an she didn't know what i had so she tested me for Gonnerea again the test came back negative. So i thought whats the point in trying to find out whats wrong the Doc. doesn't seem all that concerned. So i stopped mentioning the discharge then i had an abnormal pap in 2006 an was diagnosed with High Risk HPV so i asked if that could be the reason i was having the discharge she said no an tested me again for Chlymydia an Gonnerea again the tests came back negative. So i just assumed it was either from the Patch or the HPV so again i stopped trying. In January of 2008 the discharge got worse again so i thought it was the HPV being active in my system again but i soon found the HPV was inactive cuz i had a normal pap. I also started having spotting an breakthrough bleeding in between periods so i decided to get off the Patch an the bleeding stopped. I still have spotting around the time of ovulation an right around the time my periods due but i think its safe to say the bleeding was from the Patch. The Doc. told me sometimes after you have a Baby it changes the position an shape of your cervix an can cause more consistent discharge an thats normal but i told her its yellow not clear or white an she said ya thats mucous from inside an asked me if it started right after my Daughter was born 7 months is not right after im sorry so i think she's just guessing at this point. My discharge is still going on even after 3 yrs. but since getting off the Patch its not as consistent as it was when i was on the Patch thank god but its still there just last weekened i had a watery discharge. Now since starting doing research on HVS2 i have read that abnormal discharge can be a sign of HVS2 i haven't been tested for it since i was pregnant in 2004 an my discharge didn't start till 2005 7 months after my daughter was born. So im wondering could the discharge be a symptom of HVS2 an for whatever reason ive never developed sores? or not? Now ive never been with anyone but my Baby's Father so i would've had to get it from him if i got it way back then but he's just now developing sores so is that even possible that we could've both had it for 3 yrs. an not known it till now? please help me out here because i really need advice on this one.

Discharge all the time wouldn't be due to herpes.

No need to wait 2 weeks for the blood test - you are getting a general herpes igg screening done to see what your status is. You can get that done anytime.

Sorry to hear you haven't been getting answers from your providers but all you can do at this point is to continue follow up with them to try to figure out what is going on. if they are sending your discharge off to the lab and nothing is showing up - it's not likely to be due to infection.
