Very Worried

Hi i recently had sex with a girl about 5 - 6 weeks ago but the comdom split and i didnt notice at the time, and prior to that  or 2 or 3 days after i have had

Fatigue ( comes and goes )
Muscle aches
Burning sensations all over my body ( was severe in the 1st 1 - 2 weeks but improving )
Discomfort when i ejaculate
My left testicle was in pain ( 1 day max )

One day i woke up with blood in my mouth, like thick blood but acouple of days before that i were waking up in the nite with like toothake on the left side of my mouth, but the pain would be gone when i fully wake in the morning,

Headaches on the left side of my head.
Dizzyness
Plus within the 1st 1 - 2 weeks my legs felt numb as if i couldnt feel them

I must admit before exposure i was suffering with cold symtoms at the time which lasted on and off for like 2 weeks. Im not sure if the symtoms occured when i took the super strength cold n flu capsules, or after exposure. But Ive told the girl and she got tested 2weeks ago today and all her results came back negative. I know it was alittle early but i got tested 1 - 2 weeks after exposure with all the results coming back negative. Ive been very depressed lately with bills etc plus all of this is just adding to it. My doctor told me that i might suffering with really bad anxiety and with a low immune system prior to the cold my body is finding it hard to fight the virus off,  One thing i like to add and thats i don't normally sleep around, and i always use comdoms and ive only slept with this one girl this year. Im sorry if my post don't make sense but i hope you understand, and i apreciate all the help or advice given.

Regards David

Hi Grace, i was wondering could the clinic of mistaken the wart for being a herpes sore?
And if these results come back negative have 5 - 6 weeks can i rule out anything std related?

no genital herpes infections will not cause you to have cold sensations all over your body like that. You need to go and be seen at your regular doctor's office to explore other reasons for those symptoms. they aren't likely to be std related at all.

we do not test for hpv infections. Your partner was not tested for hpv. Unless she gets obvious warts, no way to know if she also has hpv or not and gave it to you.  you can ask her if she had her gardasil shots or not.

you aren't doing yourself any good convincing yourself this is herpes going on. Feel free to post to Terri Warren , our herpes expert here on medhelp for further assistance.

Also i like to add, when i actually masterbate the cold sensations down my legs, arms and feet become more persistant to the point where they feel frozen. And it still hurts when i ejaculate, its not a nice feeling, but i think i know where all of this is leading to, which is HERPES because i know herpes can also mess with the nerves.

Now the story gets worse. Today i woke up and did a routine check and i notice a lil small spot behind the thoreskin of my penis ive never ever ever had something like this before in my life, so i quickly drove to the GUM clinic, plus i took the girl with me who i had the exposure to, because i wanted her to see if her results were back.

To cut a story short, they examined it and said that it was a wart, i couldnt believe it. Another guy came in for a second opinion and he said that yes its definitly a wart, so they decided to freeze it there and than.

They took a swab from inside the urethra to check for any batteria infection but they came back with nothin under the scope.

So i gave another pee & blood sample and she said if these results come by negative than more than likely you don't have anythin, and to consult my gp if my symtoms continue.

The girl i was exposed to met me 5minutes later and told me her all her results were negative for everything, and she said the last time she had unprotected sex was around 3 months ago and  2months ago protected. She was shocked when i told her the bump on my penis was a wart, but cmon now i couldnt of caught it from anyone else, because i hardly sleep around and i always use protection except for when the comdom split with her leaving me exposed. It makes me wonder could she be lieing about her results.... because ive never had a wart in my life anywhere on my body.

But i was thinking could the people at the GUM clinic mistaken the actual wart for a herpes sore? could this be my outbreak its been 31 days since exposure, because i am stil getting the cold & hot sensation in my legs, hands and arms. Plus down there still don't feel right, feels sensitive to the touch.

you aren't going to have pain without lesions with herpes.

be seen and find out what is going on.

Hi Grace :) thanks for the reply, but can you explain why you don't think it is herpes? or what it could be?

Also i forgot to add that muscle aches and burning sensation mostly through my legs and arms has been going on for a good 4- 5 weeks solid. Today both sides of my bum cheeks is hurting,  the pain seems to come when the 2 joints in my femur bone put weight on my bum muscles, so it hurts when i sit down. Theres no lumps or blisters anywhere on my body.

this doesn't sound like herpes going on. continue to follow up with your provider for your symptoms to try to figure out what is going on.
