Western blot

Hello
I'llsstart with a small back story back when I was 18 my first serial experience  was with a man who raped me and from this I got herpes. I went for the initial rape test then back to my doctors for further testing this getting  the positive result.  I had a small spot at thay time.  It never hurt and had no symptoms ect. At the time I was also diagnosed with hpv. Fast forward eight years I have never had an outbreak I've never taken medicine and everytime I  test the positive number are low.  My last test results were 3.1.  I have looked high and low called and talked to multiple doctors and noone has heard of Western blot for herpes testing.  I've read online I can order it myself but have to have someone to draw my blood.  I'm kind of fuatrated cause most doctors say herpes it's not that big of a deal.  But it is to me and I want to know.  I know people sometimes never show symptoms but I want to know once and for all.  Why is this test so hard to find and can anyone help?  I've only ever told one partner I had it and it wound me in the hospital it's so scary to deal with and while I have versed myself well on the subject and can accept it either way I just want rest.
