What does vaginal discharge from hsv look like? And how can you get a confirmation of ghsv1 when there are no lesions?
You need to get the ulcer looked at and swab tested asap. Your positive hsv1 igg value was very low and that coukd be a false positive. The best thing you can do is get the ulcer tested instead of relying on a low numeric value igg
Oki i didnt know i should stick to one thread only..sorry..so i have some concerns regarding my hsv1 positive status koz am having many vaginal symptoms like clear watery discharge tingling and prickly feeling in vaginal area and buttock..plus joint pain in knees and ankles..i just found round ulcer and im scared..its yellowish in colour and hurts a lot..could you please help me out

Oh and i just learned the type specific test was elisa while the combined one was chemiiluminescence immunoassay
If you had lesions inside causing discharge you would most likely have enough pain to know something is wrong. You keep asking questions on ghsv1 and medhelp will start to delete your threads. Stick to this one and tell me what is exactly your concern. Thank you
