New to the dating scene

Hi Doctor,

I'm a gay male,  HSV2 positive.   I'm new to the dating game after separating from a LTR.   I just wanted to clarify-  If I am on Valtrex 500mg Daily,   Can I receive analingus without a high risk of infecting a Non infected partner?  Can I receive oral sex without risk of passing HSV2 on?   And it is my understanding that I can give oral sex without passing on my HSV2?
Thank you so much for your help

Hi, him licking your anal area is as close to zero risk for him contracting herpes from you and if his lips dont make contact, your can pretty much rule it out all together as saliva contains digestive enzimes that kill things.

If you had have any penis sores at the time of receiving oral his risk would also be close to zero and the addition of talking valtrex would reduce that risk by 50%.
