Red bumps everywhere! I already have oral hsv-1

Question.. Ive recently discovered large itchy red bumps. Slightly raised but mostly flat. I get them on my upper buttox, sides of my hips, in between my legs and most recently noticed them in my pubic hair. They almost look like a mosquito bite and get very itchy. No burning. Would herpes re occur so frequently (I get these every 2 weeks or less) and in all these different areas? They scab from the scratching. I went to the doctor and he didnt seem concerned but Im getting them every 2 weeks and its always in the pubic area, back, hips. Anyone know if herpes can come this frequent and in so many different areas?

Thank you Grace. I was guessing that if it was herpes, it would present like the oral herpes Ive had for years. Is it true that herpes typically only presents on one side of the body? And usually wont show in pubic hair area? Ive read that folliculitis usually has a head on it and mine does not. Just small lined up red circles or "patches"

these don't sound at all like a herpes issue. see your provider tuesday for a proper diagnosis but most likely folliculitis.  since they are reoccurring so often, time for a bacterial culture too to make sure it's not something that needs an antibiotic.

if you use a bath puff for washing, toss it!! switch to an antibacterial soap like unscented dial too.
