Dying of irritation

Someone please help.i have had genital irritation lasting over 5 years almost constantly (i might get 3 or 4 days here or there where it feels like i have a normal vagina) i have genital herpes. I am currently having my 2nd outbreak and my first was 2 years ago . I am so confused as to whether my other symptoms are due to herpes or not . Almost every day i have severe itching and sensitivity if anything rubs against my vagina , its almost always mostly my clitoris and labia minora . Sex just irritates everything more , we have tried every natural lube , no latex , i wear cotton undies , sometimes just walk around naked , no perfumes or dyes in laundry, no soaps at all . I have treated it numerous times with canesten with little or no results . I went to the gyno 2 years ago and she said it was yeast and gave me 5 weeks of pills .. some releif but not much. Ive tried just not having sex.. no luck . Im wondering if maybe its bv ? But i have no fishy odor and i asked the doctor and they just said no . What the heck is going on? I am literally ready to cut my vagina off and just have no genitals . I am completely sick of this

I feel for you!! What you describe sounds horrible. Herpes isn't associated with constant pain or irritation. Unfortunately this is one of the rare times when i have litteraly no answer. Teri Warren is at the asha. I think she would be better equipped to help you. In the end all i want is for you to find help and relief. I hope you find it.
